Top marks are to be given to the strategic location of this hotel, which is right in the middle of the East Nanjing Road. As such, it is very convenient to walk through the pedestrain street to the MRT station, People's Square and the Bund area. We were lucky to be given a room at the top floor, which appeared to be newly refurbished. Although the room is a bit small, but it is clean and comfortable.

The stay in the hotel was excellent and great value for money. The check in process couldn't have been simpler. I turned up using the free shuttle from Pudong Airport, handed over my Passport and with in minutes I had a key to my room and was on my way there.
The only complaint I have was the smell of smoke in the hotel, I don't know specifically if my room was a non-smoking room or not but there was faint smoke smell around the place. Otherwise it was a positive experience in the hotel and the staff were all very friendly.
This hotel is really good for the price. The room is large and the staffs are very helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes away from Xujiahui shopping district and subway line number 1. The only thing is that there is a construction site for subway line number 7 next to the hotel, which makes get in and out the hotel a little difficult, but it is still manageable. And it will be more convenient to commute when the subway is built.
this hotel I believe is part of a chain, we liked it here and they had thought of everything one could need for a stay,
The room was comfortable and the English speaking staff were efficient and professional.
The only let down was that the food here was expensive, I wouldn't really bother to eat here, and the coffee was exp too.
The location isn't too bad, we found the train ok, but it is a bit of a hike, however taxis in Shanghai are cheap enough and the metro is fine once you walk there.
I stayed in this hotel during my trip to Shanghai for its annual marathon event. The hotel is located near the race expo as well as the finishing line so it would be easy for me after the race.
The receptionist and the porter were very efficient, quickly checking my booking details and issuing me my room key card. The porter was very quick to help me with my luggage to my room.
The porter showed me how to open the room using the key card and went on to show me all the light switches and checked that they are all working.
The room was very well equipped. LG LCD TV with HBO and some local channels. Within the room they provide an table lamp at the writing desk, a travel power adaptor, alarm clock, sewing kit, pens, notepad, slippers, iron with ironing board, electric kettle, complimentary distilled water in bottles, shoe shine kit, ash tray (???), good quality paper bags. In the toilet, they provide razor, toothbrush with toothpaste, comb, handwash soap, shower gel in dispenser, hand towel, face towel and bath towel. There is also a hair dryer built in.
The toilet seat has a Panasonic bidet built in and works without flaw. The bath tub is fitted with a tap and a shower, There is also an removable anti-slip mat provided for the bathtub and a floor mat to dry your feet after your shower.
There are restaurants nearby which are opened during the regular hours. If you need to get a bite in the odd hours, you have to take a short walk to the nearby stadium.

In shanghai for work and this hotel was very well located, close to the metro and main shopping areas. Internet connection was great. All in all a solid hotel for biz travelers. But the room condition was a bit weary, maybe because of the traffic the hotel handles.
