We stayed at the bungalows and had a great time. They were spacious and cozy. The hotel has a shuttle bus but we actually didn't feel the need to go outside. We spend long hours relaxing, doing yoga by the pool, having cocktails at sunset and eating delicious Peruvian food at the restaurant.
I stayed here for 5 nights including New Years Eve with my girlfriend.
The positive points:
This is a very pleasant, comfortable hotel with some great views out to sea towards the sunset.
The hotel has a decent pool with pool bar and cafe.
It has a decent gym.
The food served in the main restaurant is good.
It is located near the beach, approx 5-10 mins walk down hill.
There is free transport from the hotel to Nusa Dua and Kuta twice daily.
Also free transport to anywhere in the Pecatu complex.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The negative points:
The hotel is located in a large private complex with other hotels and golf courses.
It is nowhere near any town, shops, cafés or restaurants and bars where you would normally walk around a decide where to eat, drink ad shop. The choice is limited to the hotel, Klappa (a complex with resto) and a beach resto.
It is approx 2.5 miles from the hotel to the main gate from where you can start to find limited places to eat and drink and buy any essentials.
The cotton napkins used in the pool side bar were badly stained and looked disgusting.
So no problems with the h,Orel or staff but generally I was disappointed with this part of our holiday, mainly due to the fact that I felt the hotel was so isolated. Nusa Dua is 30 mins and Kuta is 45 both with no macet.

The Best Western New Kuta Condotel is strategically located in a prime location at Pecatu Indah Resort in Bali's Badung …More
The room and linens were clean and secure with a personal safe. Air con worked really well. Also satellite tv in each room. The large outdoor common space was great for meeting fellow travellers. The manager Amitesh was so friendly and helpful. He really goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and to help you out with any questions about not just the area, but Bali as a whole. Bombora was able to arrange for car transport as well as scooter rentals at a very reasonable price. Thank you Amitesh!
Brand new and well appointed. The hotel currently only has the capacity for about a dozen guests so you basically have the whole place to yourself. Close to the surf beaches (about a 5 min walk). Good breakfasts.
Would definitely recomend as a place to stay in Uluwatu.
We booked two nights here. The staff are amazing. We instantly got a $3 a night upgrade to a huge garden view room. The cheapest room is suited to the budget traveller, however the $3 goes a long way.
Mama makes delicious food and avocado smoothies - at a good price!
Although its further from beaches, it means it is accessible to everywhere - you can explore the area more!
This is the first place that ticks all the boxes - good pool, food, shower, Wifi. Nothing is dodgy here.
Cheap hotel, has aircon but no hot water. Rooms are really bad, birds fly in and out of them all day as there are a lot of holes in the roof. Just outside there are chickens and cows that will make it hard for you to sleep at night. Staff doesn't speak english at all, it was hard to talk to them and most of the time they are not even there.
The only good thing is that is close to padang padang beach and some good restaurants.
