"Room 207 not soundproof lots of noise from road. Breakfast very poor"

"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....

"This would have been a 5 star review had I not bought the breakfast. The staff were all courteous and professional. The rooms were clean and adequately sized for my 2 night stay. View rooms face the water, but also a busy road so some may find the noise unpleasant with the windows open. I opted for a standard room and it faced a quiet area. The breakfast was a typical assortment of hot dishes and cereals, and tasted fine. I must say, though, the coffee was possibly the worst I’ve ever had, and...
