"This was my 2nd time at Bar Harbor Manor, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Hands down, the staff is the friendliest and most helpful out of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. My daughter has a food allergy, and they bent over backwards to make sure she was accommodated for and gave us recommendations for the entire town. The rooms are huge for the price, and the main lobby area is adorable. If I ever get the chance to come back to Bar Harbor, I will not be staying anywhere else!...

"I booked this hotel, because it had pool listed. Unpleasant surprise after we checked in to find out that pool has been closed for some years and not planning to reopen any time soon. "This hotel was overpriced. It's very old and somewhat broken down. The walls in the room were poorly patched, the electrical cords strung out, the chain lock broken on the door, the curtains wouldn't close completely unless you rigged them, the sink was cracked. It was probably as clean as you can get a really old property. But again, very overpriced. The staff was friendly and helpful. They made a good attempt at a to-go type of free breakfast."
