"Een prima hotel op een steenworp afstand van het station en slechts enkele minuten lopen naar het centrum. De kamer was ruim, evenals de badkamer. Het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Minpuntjes: geen lift en een erg smalle trap. De elektriciteit was erg langzaam (dit gingen ze uitzoeken) en de WiFi viel regelmatig weg.
Maar absoluut een aanrader. Mocht ik weer eens naar Oxford gaan, zal ik zeker weer kiezen voor dit hotel."

"The property was on a quiet street but near a main road with restaurants, a Tesco and a Boots nearby. Our room was renovated with a beautiful bathroom with monogrammed towels and bedding. The doors were activated by a key code given at check-in. Staff were very helpful and we had a wonderful three night stay."

"This is a sweet guest house with a walkable location and neighbourhood feeling
The room was certainly cozy with a terrific shower and really good mattress!
It uses a self check-in feature with no available staff yet response time online was swift and helpful.
All in all a nice option from the typical hotel experience….."

"We were most welcomed on our arrival, everything was explained as regards to amenities.
The breakfasts certainly set you up for the day, they were well presented and freshly cooked and came to the table hot, which was bonus.
For anyone going to Oxford, we would highly recommend a stay at the River Hotel and very reasonably priced.

"Was not sent sheet by email with booking in details such as code needed for front door and code for locker to get room tab. Bed was not made during stay. no breakfast provided"
