The Ibis is located an easy walking distance to the Mall of the Emirates, which also has a Metro stop. The Metro is an easy and efficient way to get around Dubai.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The lobby area has a bar and a cafe/restaurant. The Ibis is connected to the Novotel next door, so one can also access the Novotel restaurant. The reception staff asked if we were interested in some tours. We did book two tours - a half day city sightseeing tour and the evening desert safari tour - both of which were excellent and good value.
The Mall of the Emirates is an amazing shopping and entertainment centre and it's hard not to get lost once one is inside!

My Stay was comfortable. Check in & out very quick, However wifi was little slow specially at the 4th floor corners rooms. Breakfast menu has been improved in compare of last time when I stayed. Overall it is fantastic and pleasant stay.
We are a couple travelling. Security is very important. ibis fits the plan bcoz its jz 15 minutes away from airport. Since we are using Dubai big bus tours, we need to stay near it. The big bus tour starts from Deira city centre at 930am for the red line. And Deira city centre is jz opposite the hotel. Going back to airport, u can either get a taxi arrange by hotel which cost around 35dirham or jz flag a taxi along the street which cost around 10dirham. I only took taxis from Dubai Taxi Corporation (red top, cream body).
The hotel room has hair dryer, coffee making machine and enuf space to put luggages.

Excellent hotel and staff. Very clean and helpful staff.
Only negative feedback would be the buffet breakfast does need more selection (hot food is minimal)
But overall a very good stay and would recommend excellent Shisha place within a few minutes walk.
I've been to Dubai before but this time I wasn't going to have a lot of down time so my needs were simple. Comfy room, breakfast, free internet and free car parking.
The Holiday Inn supplied all of these. I arrived tired and was told to park in the underground car park which, although isn't designed for large vehicles, is free. The staff saw I was tired and help speed things through check-in, even arranging for an iron and ironing board for me.
The room was fairly spacious and comfy, especially the bed where you had a choice of soft and firm pillows. Wireless internet was free, although you should check as my reservation said it wasn't.
Breakfast was pretty good but they rotate the hot food every other day so if you're there for 6 days you will see the same hot food every second day!
Its easy to get food delivered to the hotel, plus just across the street is a subway and Domino's pizza for those times when all you want is to chill out in the comfort of your room.
Probably the thing I remember most was actually the guard at the car park barrier as he always leaned out the window with a massive smile and a loud hello, and believe me, after a tough work day a small welcome like that can't help but bring a smile to your face.
I really can't fault the hotel at all as I got a great flight / hotel rate through Expedia that I couldn't touch anywhere else. Would I stay there again, of course!.
You are close to airport with free pick up, Clean new hotel. I was in double room. One bed was labeled firm and other softer. Kettle with coffee and tea in room and solid breakfast buffet. Short walk to metro line .Free wifi made it to my 3 floor room.
The only down side is it is a transit hotel and so there is coming and going all night. I had some folks leaving at 3 am in hall chatting it up. Not really hotels fault
there are some good things about the hotel: There is a Spa, a pool, a restaurante with a cyber café and a snooker table. But they should renovate the rooms, specialy the bathrooms. They should also provide more cable channels.
